An award for me!!

Woohoo! This is my very first blog award! My blog-friend, Katie, gave me this award a few days ago and I was so excited!! I feel like I'm officially part of the blog world now. Thanks, Katie, for giving me this much needed pick-me-up!

10 honest things about me:

1. I HATE spiders and snakes. Anything that has too many legs or no legs at all just creeps me out.

2. Two of my most favorite things in the whole world are funnel cakes and fresh squeezed lemonade!

3. I would love to own a cute, little bookstore...like the one in "You've Got Mail". I would have story time for the kids and maybe a book club of sorts for the adults!

4. I wish that I had a loud speaker on the outside of my car so that I could yell at all the idiot drivers here in Houston. And I wish that I had the authority to write tickets to those idiot drivers too.

5. I cannot wink. Chris often tries to teach me, but it's just not happening.

6. I still sleep with my childhood lovie...Bloopie. He used to be a humpty dumpty doll, but now he's just kind of a faceless blob. Don't judge...there are far worse things in life that I could be doing. :)

7. My parents used to play "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang when I was a baby to get me to stop crying. Apparently, as soon as it came on I would dance around in my crib. To this day, I still get excited when I hear that song and I have to sing along and dance!

8. I have a tad bit of OCD when it comes to cleaning the house...ESPECIALLY loading the dishwasher.

9. I love to have checklists and to literally "check" items off my list as I complete them.

10. I hate grocery shopping but I like making the grocery list and organizing the groceries in the fridge and pantry once they're home.
