I'm going to just do a bullet style update for each of them to document what they're doing and how big they are at one year. I've been trying to write this post for a week now, so I think I just need to take the easy way out and get it done. :-)
Logan:
- 19 lbs. 10 oz. and 28 3/4 inches long
- wears mostly 12 month and 12-18 month clothes, but can still wear a few 6-12 month clothes
- wears a size 5 shoe
- is still in size 3 diapers during the day and size 4 overnight diapers
- LOVES to eat (I don't think he has any current dislikes with food)
- will sometimes share his food with Paige by putting it on her tray
- loves to drop food on the floor for our dog
- eats 100% table food three times a day and also has two snacks
- drinks whole milk from a sippy cup with a hard spout (we were done with bottles and formula one day after their birthday...yay!)
- says "dada", "duh" for dog and has said a few other things that we're still trying to figure out :-)
- loves to hand you things and for you to tell him "thank you"
- loves reading his books, especially the ones with flaps or his touch and feel animal books
- likes to push Paige in her car
- loves to ride in the wagon
- will crawl up in your lap and cuddle
- still loves to suck his thumb
- cuddles his seahorse during naps and when he's going to bed (so cute!)
- absolutely loves music and really likes to dance now
- is walking a lot more now, but I still wouldn't label him a "walker" just yet
- loves animals
- understands so many new words and phrases now
- will usually comply if you tell him "no no Logan"
- waves hi and bye
- makes the clicking noise with his tongue

Love the bullets, they are growing up so fast. And I totally agree about the shots. So sweet that Logan was sad for her but so sad too. Getting big is hard work!
ReplyDeleteShots are not fun. Sounds like you're doing a fantastic jo Mama!!
